Tuscaloosa 04:37
The worlds right in front of you Mines alway on back, somewhere in between Trying hard to catch my breath Shoes, telephone lines, my Benzo dreams Standing void in vast unrest Planted in my chest these vacant beams Pretend people that we were Different, but the same, or so it seems By morning time I’ll be in Tuscaloosa Waiting for your smile by bus Hiding in plain sight in a churchyard I don’t think they’ll let me out, think they'll let me out alive Sitting same bar stool again Wondering where I’ve been your guess is as good as mine Livings got me breathing sighs Wearing this disguise, and wondering why… Lying on this laminate isle Walking your wire in single file Awake counting all your sheep Tending them cause you don’t sleep, lying next to me By morning time I’ll be in Tuscaloosa Waiting for your smile by bus Hiding in plain sight in a churchyard I don’t think they’ll let me out, think they'll let me out alive By morning time I’ll be in Tuscaloosa Waiting for your smile by bus Hiding in plain sight in a churchyard I don’t think they’ll let me out, think they'll let me out alive

Horizon 05:46
Wrote some kind words about a city Bag it up bury it in the ground Dig it up when I’m good and ready Burn the only bridges I got left in town Someday they’ll all forgive us Patience ain’t a virtue I possess Give me a ten gallon hat of gasoline Pack a matches and I’ll take care of the rest Don’t you worry about the tides boy Got a river coming through Forget about the horizon The answers are right in front of you Chew the dust from the chair He’ll watch you with a quiet stare Find your last breath doesn’t care Which way you go up or down here or there Never was one for a solution Couldn’t hear one if he tried Those words construed pollution Suffocating the last time she cried Got herself a bed in Lincoln Winters can be tough out there Find yourself in Denver darling Look me up I got room to spare He said he ain’t got no skeleton They ain’t got nowhere to hide Just cause you don’t own the closet You can't see the ones walking by your side Don’t you worry about the tides boy Got a river coming through Forget about the horizon The answers are right in front of you Don’t you worry about the tides boy Got a river coming through Forget about the horizon The answers are right in front of you The answers are right in front of you The answers are right in front of you The answers are right in front of you

Hard Times 04:25
There is always something watching Always something to be seen Inside a veil of wanting Who we are in between Needles arms find the seed Holy superstition Doctors know just what I need Destroy my nose for intuition Hard Times these days, belly's empty bills to pay Hard times these days, that's the way it is and the way it will stay Hard Times these days, cardboard sign no place to lay Hard times these days, that's the way it is and the way it will stay Burners tossed ain’t sure of love Strangely smells like fiction Hold the lady and white dove Mouths to feed my addictions Who are the dealers Sets up shop round the way Degrees separate crooks from healers Leave the rest of us to say Hard Times these days, Belly's empty bills to pay Hard times these days, that's the way it is and the way it will stay Hard Times these days, Cardboard sign no place to lay Hard times these days, that's the way it is and the way it will stay

Wondering down the block just yesterday I met a woman who look dismayed Her words seemed like they weighed a metric ton Quietly she asked me had I seen her son Hold my tongue to cause no harm I knew that boy went south to feed his arm He was in and out of the embassy yesterday Those Morgan County Blues gonna take him far away Have you seen Mr. Reed Last time I saw him his arm was full He was sowing his own bad seed Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Borrowed from your tomorrows Only to fall so short on today Injected tears to fool your sorrow The ones you left behind are the ones who pay Those Ghosts that stole your soul Left your car down there in Carolina Telling tales finally took there toll A have you seen him poster is our only reminder Have you seen Mr. Reed Last time I saw him his arm was full He was sowing his own bad seed Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Just a poor poor victim of his own disease Have you seen Mr. Reed Have you seen Mr. Reed Have you seen Mr. Reed Have you seen Mr. Reed

Roamed these broken alleyways Played cards with gamblers and thieves Strayed like any good cat I held a jack of hearts under my sleeve Saint Gertrude comes to me Begs me for her hand Queens opens her eyes to see Helps me to understand No reason for saving Got nothing under my tongue Tried my hands at praying Cross above the doorway hung Saint Gertrude comes to me Begs me for her hand Queens opens her eyes to see Helps me to understand She walks on down to Texas Invites me to come along I don't ramble much no more You'll find her in a song Saint Gertrude comes to me Begs me for her hand Queens opens her eyes to see Helps me to understand

Skin stays way to thin These nights ain't so young no more Trying to find its way To worn can't find the door Sometimes sevens bleed through Morning shades tendrils of grey Miracles, migraines find me here Circumstance finds its way Sunshine comes slowly but surely When you ain't around Beatin' ourselves to bits for our piece Of Unclaimed Ground No man's land stays vacant For reasons that we don't know Can't fight for nothing forever Find your moon and take it slow Binding your time for miles For something that never was Moment was keen on leaving Affects interest just because Never been one for staying Will's too steep to hang around Lost was I before you Search the field but never found Sunshine comes slowly but surely When you ain't around Beatin' ourselves to bits for our piece Of Unclaimed Ground No man's land stays vacant For reasons that we don't know Can't fight for nothing forever Find your moon and take it slow

Avarice 04:07
We see through the Facade Hiding who they are Rough streets, white sheets Won’t Let me sleep tonight Heavy trying to make things right Avarice, Avarice, Avarice Tried to be what they want Losing who I am Right side judges, hold grudges Won’t let me sleep tonight Heavy trying to make this right Avarice, Avarice, Avarice Let them halfway in Choking in my own skin Feelin hollow, pill to swallow Wont let me sleep tonight Heavy trying to make this right Avarice, Avarice, Avarice Drowning in the glass Knew it couldn’t last Words bend, in the end Won’t let me sleep tonight Heavy trying to make this right Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice, Avarice

Nayasa 04:29
When, when will this road end Trucking through Nayasa up and down the bend Bolts have come loose I can’t understand How the wheels haven’t fallen off again Found Some pavement and and old toothbrush A pothole and my old crush Driven to the brink of sanity Gonna find my way out someday Light the bush feed the flame With your lies and Kerosene Leave nothing but an honest man In your wake, In your wake Tell me something I don’t know Lay me dry when the rivers low Let me sink into a Salton Sea If not just let me be, If not just let me be, If not just let me be Marmalades and Chutney peaches Leave me to my old releases See the bones have your say After the lions pick me away Forgiveness Like that old song Can’t make it right if your wrong Take my soul use your law These my cards I’ll have to draw Light the bush feed the flame With your lies and Kerosene Leave nothing but an honest man In your wake, In your wake Tell me something I don’t know Lay me dry when the rivers low Let me sink into a Salton Sea If not just let me be If not just let me be If not just let me be If not just let me be If not just let me be If not just let me be If not just let me be
